ShelfAWARENESS noted that the Book Fair had several thousand attendees.
And we made Image of the Day!
I am pictured here enjoying dinner (at Table #9 ; ) with author/illustrator

This Saturday, October 16th, come to Macy's in the Providence Place Mall (third floor mall entrance) for their SHOP FOR A CAUSE EVENT!

The non-profit featured at this event is the TRAVELING THEATER ! I have worked with the TRAVELING THEATER a lot over the years, and they do great work for the community bringing theater and arts to after-school programs in urban areas, (for more about them, please check out their website<www.travelingtheatre.org>).

I am happy to be joining them again for this event, and I will be reading THE CROW (A Not So Scary Story) while they expertly preform it, from Noon to 2PM.  Before my reading, local author Julie Fox will also be accompanied for her reading of her book UGLY AS A TOAD from 10AM - 12PM.

Please help me support the TRAVELING THEATER during SHOP FOR A CAUSE by coming to see us this Saturday. When you make a $5.00 donation you will receive a coupon for 25% off your entire purchase that day!!! Its a win...win!

Story time Tuesday mornings in Burnside Park!

Kennedy Plaza is organizing some great events this Summer in Burnside Park, (the one with the beautiful fountain right next to the bus station). For the kiddies, every Tuesday morning from 10 AM - 11AM a different local author and/or illustrator will be reading books!

I will be reading some of my favorite books this Tuesday August 3rd with Peter Mandel, who will be opening the hour with a reading from his newest book.

Then on Tuesday August 31st I will be reading my book THE CROW (A Not So Scary Story), and my new book SUNDAY LOVE!
